Song Saa’s first venture, the award-winning Song Saa Private Island, opened in 2012 in Cambodia’s Koh Rong archipelago, and pioneered the integration of high-end hospitality facilities and services, with ground-backing sustainable design and environmental and social initiatives.
Location
Located in the emerald blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand, in the Koh Rong archipelago, Song Saa Private Island is home to rainforest, tropical reefs and a glistening white beach, a mere 29km from the Cambodia mainland.
Featuring two islands, known locally as the ‘sweethearts’ (Song Saa) — and connected by a boardwalk—the resort is a destination that balances high-end hospitality and wellness with social and environment wellbeing and improvement.

It features 24 luxury Over-Water, Jungle and Ocean View villas built with sustainable materials and with the deepest respect for the natural environment. Open-plan living spaces and outdoor decks with daybeds allow guests to enjoy the island’s magnificent seascapes and rainforests.
